I did a 'blog swap' with fellow Muse author Suzanne de Montigny earlier this month, where we interviewed each other simultaneously on our blogs. On Suzanne's blog I was chatting about DEATH SCENE, being a geek, and playing bass guitar. Read the interview here.

![]() I'm very excited to be able to reveal the new cover for the MuseItUp re-release of DEATH SCENE (coming in a few weeks' time). It has been designed by the talented Charlotte Volnek, and I think it looks amazing. And although this is not how I pictured Shara up to now when I have been writing about her, when I write future books about her this is always how I will see her. I've now got an author page on MuseItUp Publishing's website, and both DEATH SCENE and DEAD COOL are listed. DEATH SCENE will be out by the end of May. Watch this space!
I've been quite busy in cyberspace over the past week, making not one but two guest appearances. Last week Pete Sutton interviewed me for his blog, and we chatted about my mystery series and the creation of my amateur sleuth Shara Summers. You can read the full interview here.
And today I've been blogging over at Mary Waibel's blog 'Waibel's World', about how being a writer is both a curse and a blessing. Check it out here. Earlier this week I visited Helena Fairfax in Yorkshire, and we chatted about many British things, including the weather and memories of childhood holidays in Blackpool. I also revealed the secret of what I do with annoying bosses. See the full interview here.
I was visiting Janie Franz on her blog Anasazi Dreams earlier this month, talking about discipline and ambition and how they are the writer's tools. Check out the post here.
I visited Christina Weigand's blog "The Palace of the Twelve Pillars" this week, talking about the creation of my amateur sleuth Shara Summers. You can see the blog post here.
I'm in the spotlight on author Sonya Clark's blog this week, talking about Star Wars, Riley, and tea. Take a look at the interview here.
I am pleased to announce that the sequel to DEATH SCENE, which is titled DEAD COOL, will be published by MuseItUp Publishing in 2014.
My amateur sleuth Shara Summers is a Canadian actress, so it seems especially fitting that she's found a home with a Canadian publisher. Keep watching this space for further information! The programme for BristolCon 2013 (held on Saturday 26 October) has been released, and I am pleased to announce I am on one panel and moderating another. I will also be participating in the mass author signing, at 2pm in the main bar. The programme looks fab - it's not too late to register for the con!
