I am making a guest appearance this week, on the blog of horror writer Luke Walker, 'Die Laughing'. I am talking about why I write crime as well as horror. I hope you will check it out.
I've been rather busy travelling around cyberspace over the last few weeks, doing a variety of guest appearances. Here's a round-up of where you can find me, along with links.
10 July - interview on Mary Waibel's blog 13 August - Guest post for Kat Holmes' summer bash on cultural displacement 20 August - Five Facts About me on Anne Stenhouse's blog 21 August - DEATH SCENE in the spotlight on Penny Estelle's blog Phew! And I'm not finished yet - more guest appearances are lined up over the next few weeks, so watch this space! My guest post on Helena Fairfax's blog earlier this week was all about strong women in fiction and how they inspired me to create my amateur sleuth Shara Summers. You can read the guest post in full on Helena's blog.
I've been rather busy with guest appearances on the Internet over recent weeks, and here is a round-up of where I've been visiting the second half of June. Firstly, I hopped over the pond to New York to chat to sibling authors Heather Brainerd Fraser and David Fraser, and you can read the interview here.
Then it was off to the country to visit Heather Greenis, where I talk about how being nosy is an essential trait for a writer (see post). After that, I was off to Maryland to visit Christopher Mannino, who interviewed me for his blog 'The Poet's Fire' (see interview). Time for a quick break before getting back on the publicity train... Susan and I had a blog swap recently, featuring on each other's blogs. In my visit to her blog, I am chatting about my writing process and favourite films and authors. I also talk briefly about the current work in progress.
I've been rather busy doing interviews of late, in the run-up to the re-release of DEATH SCENE. On Joan C Curtis's blog I am chatting about the difference between writing novels and short stories.
I was recently chatting to author Marsha R West, on her Tuesday Author Chats feature, talking about DEATH SCENE and my writing process. Take a look at the interview here.
I've been quite busy in cyberspace over the past week, making not one but two guest appearances. Last week Pete Sutton interviewed me for his blog, and we chatted about my mystery series and the creation of my amateur sleuth Shara Summers. You can read the full interview here.
And today I've been blogging over at Mary Waibel's blog 'Waibel's World', about how being a writer is both a curse and a blessing. Check it out here. Earlier this week I visited Helena Fairfax in Yorkshire, and we chatted about many British things, including the weather and memories of childhood holidays in Blackpool. I also revealed the secret of what I do with annoying bosses. See the full interview here.
