Release dates for the first two books in the Shara Summers series have been set! DEATH SCENE releases on 22 September, with DEAD COOL following on 25 November. I've been rather busy with guest appearances on the Internet over recent weeks, and here is a round-up of where I've been visiting the second half of June. Firstly, I hopped over the pond to New York to chat to sibling authors Heather Brainerd Fraser and David Fraser, and you can read the interview here.

Then it was off to the country to visit Heather Greenis, where I talk about how being nosy is an essential trait for a writer (see post).

After that, I was off to Maryland to visit Christopher Mannino, who interviewed me for his blog 'The Poet's Fire' (see interview).

Susan and I had a blog swap recently, featuring on each other's blogs.  In my visit to her blog, I am chatting about my writing process and favourite films and authors.  I also talk briefly about the current work in progress.

I've been rather busy doing interviews of late, in the run-up to the re-release of DEATH SCENE.  On Joan C Curtis's blog I am chatting about the difference between writing novels and short stories.

I did a 'blog swap' with fellow Muse author Suzanne de Montigny earlier this month, where we interviewed each other simultaneously on our blogs. On Suzanne's blog I was chatting about DEATH SCENE, being a geek, and playing bass guitar.  Read the interview here.

I'm very excited to be able to reveal the new cover for the MuseItUp re-release of DEATH SCENE (coming in a few weeks' time). 

It has been designed by the talented Charlotte Volnek, and I think it looks amazing.  And although this is not how I pictured Shara up to now when I have been writing about her, when I write future books about her this is always how I will see her.

I've now got an author page on MuseItUp Publishing's website, and both DEATH SCENE and DEAD COOL are listed. DEATH SCENE will be out by the end of May. Watch this space!
